Ok, so who isn't tired of the snow? I know I am.
Another meeting got snowed out this month. The only good thing I can say is that the club will be receiving some sort of compensation
(see below). For now I guess we need to hang in there. Or go slap that groundhog around a bit...
Winter officially ends at some point in March. Here's to hoping for no more disrupted gaming days!

February 6th Meeting Snowed Out
For the second time in two months, a major snowstorm hit the Oxford Valley area on a meeting date. And unlike the December meeting,
it appears no one from EPGS braved the storm.
EPGS president Keith Layton spoke with the company that owns the mall regarding a possible refund for the two cancelled meetings. The result is that
the club will be receiving credits for two free uses of the community room for the next lease beginning in January 2011.

Located in Roslyn, PA (one block from the SEPTA regional rail station), 7th Dimension Games sports a nice gaming area in its
basement and a wide variety of games for sale. Members of EPGS receive a discount on purchases. For more information and directions,

Pitman, New Jersey Shop To Host Local Settlers of Catan World Championship Qualifier
All The Kings Men, a games shop mainly dedicated to chess, will be hosting the qualifier on Saturdays in March. There are two
preliminary rounds scheduled for March 13 and 20; winners of these events are eligable for the final held on March 27. For more

The Games We Played - February 2010
Due to the snowstorm, there isn't much to report here. There was only one game that was played more than twice, that being the
classic card game Cribbage. Also worthy of note is the new game Priests of Ra, which was played twice at the
February 20th meeting. This is the second new game related to the original Ra released in the past year.
