September 2010
If this newsletter appears rushed, it's because I am a very busy person. When I took over the newsletter position I had
just been laid off and had plenty of time. Now I'm dealing with work and school and while there a lot of positive
things to be said for that, it definitely has compromised my free time! In fact, with officer elections coming up soon, I
would like to officially announce that I will be stepping down from the newsletter editor position effective at the end
of my term in December. If you have an interest in this or any of the other officer positions, please bring it up at one
of the upcoming meetings.
Meanwhile...the Phillies won the NL East division again. Funny how it never grows old! They've been looking very good recently,
so perhaps there's another World Series in their near future. Go Phillies!
All for now. Game on!

The Games We Played - September 2010
My personal thanks (once again!) to Harold Dewhirst for providing lists of games played. For the second month in a row,
Axis & Allies won most played honors, this time with an incredible seven times played. Incredible because it is
definitely not a quick game! Second place was a tie between two fantasy-theme card games: Magic The Gathering and
Thunderstone, with three plays each.

list of games played in September.
